LAM Chap 5 blog

Starting Turtle island helps Eustace in many ways. Turtle Island brings people to a place where they can figure out what it is to be an American, and it shows them what it feels like to live in the woods and hunt. Eustace through Turltle island can show people why he lives in the woods and that we as Americans dont't need material things. But, by making turlte island it was a big challenge 80,000 dollars and 180 acres. At first Eustace didn't find anyway to get the money. He thought of one person that could possibly help him, his father. His father gave him a loan to help with Turle Island. With his money and his father he could finish the island but it would be alot of work. In conclusion, this island gave Eustace a chance to speak to his father, and change kids lives by telling them what material things are and what a real American is.

You talk about what turtle island is but not on how it helps Eustace and his goal he has completed and haw this is a big step in his life.

So first of all, this is an ok post, but try checking your spelling and grammar before you post. Also, you make Turtle Island sound like an actual island in this post. Overall though, I agree with you where you said how it is going to let Eustace show the world what he is truly about and to teach kids about his ways. I think you could have gone deeper with the struggles he encountered with starting the camp because that was mostly what the chapter was about.

I would like to say that while u got the main point you left out many things that are important to know. Like the fact that his father is not the nicest guy, and that Eustace had to travel a lot to get it paid back
