First book blog

• Blog – Why is it important that this book is truth, not fiction? Why is it important that the editor didn’t clean it up, either in terms of language or content?

It is important that this book is truth not fiction, so readers can understand what really happen in history with a black women instead of a idea of a white man. Since it's truth, we can learn what the character was thinking and the real side of a story. It's important that the editor didn't clean it up because if he changed the story the story might be different than from a slave position. If the story isn't cleaned up, it will have the real information of what happend wit the balck female slave. We need to see how the narrative language and content really was in early history.
