What trick does Huck play on Jim? Why is he tricking him now when he didn’t want to before?
The trick that Huck plays on Jim. Huck finds a dead rattle snake and puts it by Jim while he was sleeping. Huck had forgotten about the rattle snakes mate. The mate came back and bit Jim in the leg. I think the reason Huck tricks Jim now is because Huck is more comfortable with Jim. In there adventure Huck has spent alot of time with Jim and they start to form a friendship.

while it is true what you said I believe that it is important to notice that even though they are becoming friends that jim still is uneasy. This is partially due to the fact that he will have more of a punishment that huck.
